Ensuring that your horse’s teeth are in a good condition should be an important part of any horse owner’s routine.  A set of bad teeth can impair the performance, comfort, well being and even the life span of your horse.

Symptoms of a horse that may need dental care:

        • Mouth ulceration due to sharp teeth

        • Caps (baby teeth), wolf teeth 

        • Problem teeth – sagittal slab fractures,

           protuberant teeth, broken mouth, abnormalities

           such as parrot/sow mouth 

        • Change in chewing habits, e.g. “quidding”

        • Excess saliva

        • Halitosis and swelling of face or jaw

        • Refusal to eat hard grain

        • Loss of condition
